Putting smiles on faces by fixing one long-standing bug at a time. In my short time at Disney, I made a few important contributions regarding architecture and way-finding, which helped pave a way forward for their team. I also helped analyze live usability tests and identified some persona-based usage patterns that were not previously well-understood. I also helped build a rapid prototype for a new Disneyland app, which was a lot of fun.

The Backstory

Despite a staggering amount of organization dysfunction (especially in HR and IT), this gig involved a lot of very interesting in-park testing. Talk about a target-rich environment for Location Services work!

We ultimately decided not to partake of Seattle’s prohibitive real estate market or traffic, so fortunately eBay took me back.
