We value our privacy at scenario.org, where we operate our own email server. Your use of any @scenario.org email address shall mean that you fully understand and explicitly agree to these Terms of Service, whether such use was intentional or otherwise.

Email Target Service

We recognize that you may be in the marketing or software testing business. Or maybe you’re just a spammer. So in addition to publishing our own content on scenario.org, we’re happy to provide the following service for you, your company or your organization, and any affiliates or contractors working on your behalf or for your benefit:

Receipt of your Spam or Test Email

• “Spam” or “UCE” (Unsolicited Commercial Email) shall be defined as any email received by us at any @scenario.org email address, for which no prior expressed permission was given for you to make contact.
• “Test Email” shall be defined as any email received by us at any @scenario.org email address that appears to be part of a bona fide QA (Quality Assurance) or other testing process, whether automated or manually initiated. Additionally, any temporary or test account opened using an @scenario.org email address shall remain free for us to use — including any transfer of funds to us, or access to any goods or services normally afforded to any of your subscribers or customers.

We alone will determine what specific emails qualify under these terms. We will make a good-faith attempt to unsubscribe from your server. We will forward your email to spam@fcc.gov. And we will temporarily store and process your email on our server — for a fee.

That fee is $100 per message, payable upon receipt. To avoid potential collection action, please remit payment within 10 days of receiving our invoice.

Scenario Software® is a registered trademark under USPTO Serial Number 78399629. Our service mark has been in commercial use internationally since 1994. All rights reserved.

scenario.com® is a registered trademark under USPTO Serial Number 88316578. Our service mark has been in commercial use internationally since 1994. All rights reserved.

POSERS® is a registered trademark under USPTO Serial Number 90472238. Our service mark has been in commercial use internationally since 2022. All rights reserved.

Any infringement or other abuse of our trademarks in such a manner as to create confusion in the marketplace, including errant emails received by us at any @scenario.org email address, shall be invoiced to you at the rate of $10,000 per instance. To avoid potential collection action, please remit payment within 10 days of receiving our invoice.

Legal Disclaimer

The members of scenario.org expressly do not agree to any Confidentiality Statement included with any communications received by us. You hereby agree to hold all recipients at scenario.org exempt and immune from any potential claim of damage, should any action or inaction by us be deemed to interfere with your business practices or relationships with any third parties.

These public Terms of Service shall be interpreted and enforced under Oregon state law in the United States, and may be updated periodically without notice.
